GALO was founded by two senior practitioners with decades of experience across global advertising agencies and international sports marketing, guided by strong commercial acumen.

We combine traditional advertising craft with partnerships, creative strategy and event experience across sport, gaming and entertainment.

Robert Gaxiola

Gax brings over 20 years of creative leadership across Asia and the USA. He has held top creative roles at FCB, Bates, and Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and most notably served as ECD of Advertising and Digital at Ogilvy Singapore.

His accolades include golds at Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show and the Effies. He co-founded Mangham Gaxiola, Singapore’s largest independent agency, later acquired by the Dentsu Aegis Network. Most recently he led creative for Southeast Asia and India at Ampverse, building in-house teams across IP, gaming and entertainment.

At GALO, he applies AI as a force-multiplier across insight, content creation and activation — accelerating the path from idea to execution while maintaining the rigour of senior creative thinking.

Fernando Loureiro

Fernando Loureiro brings over 18 years of experience spanning the Americas and APAC across sports, gaming and entertainment. His focus combines brand and creative thinking with partnership strategy, sponsorship activation, hospitality and VIP experience design to find white-space opportunities and untie complex commercial knots.

Trained at NYU and ESPM, Fernando held roles at Leverage Agency, ONE Championship and Razer, managing global partnerships, integrated campaigns and sales commercialisation. As a senior leader at Ampverse and rEvolution he took P&L ownership, led APAC expansion and ran cross-functional teams for end-to-end delivery of projects that close the loop between idea and income, prioritising clarity, accountability and measurable impact.

At GALO he leads the sports practice with a senior-first, pragmatic approach with compact teams, rigorous strategy and AI as a performance tool, staying involved from brief through execution to ensure ideas deliver measurable commercial impact.
